Masturbation

Every one masturbates its a key feature of sexual maturity and sometimes it just has to be done, however masturbation is rarely depicted in Film or Television, on the rarities it is shown it is mainly used for comical effect. People rarely talk about masturbation as it is still seen as a taboo.

I believe there are two main reasons for this, the first being because the act of masturbation is preformed by one person, a single person sexually exciting themeselves is assosiated with failure as there doing it to themselves, not having sexual acts preformed on them by another person, this may indicate a lack of sexual success with the desired sex.

The second reason is that although attitudes towards masturbation are slowly changing, previous thoughts where that ejaculation is meant for reproduction not for pleasure, so we have that mentality programmed into us without even realising it.

Masturbation has always happened and will always continue to do so, even if you refuse to admit to it!
